Our New Home

Ravenhurst is our new home located at Beecroft, a suburb of Sydney.

The name derives from its early days as the home of Ravenhurst College. The house was built by Frederick Mason junior, a local builder and orchardist, on land he had purchased. In 1903 he let his 'fine villa residence' to Miss Elise Sampson as the home for the new college.

An advertisement for Ravenhurst College in 1906 appeared with a sketch of the residence by well known Hornsby artist George Collingridge.

Since then the residence has undergone many changes, but it still retains the original facade and dimensions of the original building.
